About Dr. Scott

Strategic Advisor

Dr. Britney Scott, an expert in the intersection of DEI and process improvement, has devoted her life to improving healthcare equity and inclusivity through means that align with overall business goals. With a BS in Biology from Oakwood University, an MD from Howard University College of Medicine, a Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma from IASSC, a Certificate in D&I through the HRCI, and real-world experience as CEO of her own Healthcare DEI Process Improvement Firm, The Clinic Doctor, she helps companies create the company culture of their dreams. Additionally, Dr. Scott’s commitment to creating equitable environments can be heard through her podcast, The DEI Disrupters, and seen through her work as a faculty lecturer for the Leadership Development to Advance Equity in Health Care course at the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health. In this course, she teaches leaders from top companies worldwide how to turn their DEI ideas into action and communicate the value of their important work for the broader business structure to understand via dollars, data, and moral dogmas. On top of all this, Dr. Scott is a proud second-generation Jamaican-American with a penchant for being on the dance floor, eating delicious food, writing and performing slam poetry, and playing violin—all passions that fuel her dedication to designing more equitable systems in healthcare.
